Wow, what a year 2024 was, am I right? It had to be by far the longest and hardest year for me, but not to say it wasn’t productive. I’ve finished almost 20 screenplays, I’ve made numerous pieces, and I’m about to get married this year! I have a lot happening in 2025 and I’m looking forward to sharing more of my art with the world. I have an ambition that far exceeds my distant seeing eye, and every day I work hard. I inch ever so closer to that ambition.
Recent Music Creations
Whispering Caves
Whispering Caves is the most recent addition to my Caves Soundtrack. I do need to go back through the other Caves Pieces and really remake them to bring them up to the quality I’m currently at. This series is among my oldest compositions and I want them to stand out as some of my best. The caves is a unique series of pieces that pushes music time signatures to an almost serene realm. Each measure is at a constant change in rhythm and time, giving a Debussy effect to the piece that fits right at home in the modern era.
The video for Whispering Caves is provided in the playlist
Live Recordings | Updates
These video additions were a long time coming. I had many of these recordings saved as MP3’s for a long time, but I never put in the energy to put it on my YouTube Channel, but I knew I should. Some of these recordings are my best recordings I have yet. The following are new additions to my Recordings Portfolio:
– Rabbit Dance
– Lanterns
– Wish Upon a Moonlit Sky
– Lost in Snow
– Parsley, From the Spice Cabinet
– Vermin Trio
– My Own Ark
– Sovereign Rein
Check these Video’s descriptions out for some about and history behind the recording and piece!
From the Cookbook | Updates
I’ve not forgotten about my goal to finish the Orchestra Recipes Lesson book. I’ve been quite busy juggling so many aspects of life that additional composition lessons has taken a pause for the meantime. But when I do get around to my online lessons, I make a piece like this most recent one:
– Melancholy
Melancholy is a sweet piece that is slow and takes advantage of light tones to evoke this nostalgic feeling. I hope you explore my musical learning journey through this playlist. And if your interested in following the same learning journey I am, here is a link to the online course:

The Tundra | Remade
This video was a long time coming. It’s still my most ambitious project to date and I intend to go back through the ENTIRE official soundtrack for Across the Dales and remake all of it! This is quite a daunting task, and it currently on pause as I have to refigure out how I’m going to pace and organize the remakes of my soundtrack with the revitalized screenplay I have been hard at work. Please look forward to future updates on my biggest project ever!
Fortune Leaves
Fortune Leaves is a screenplay fantasy project that I have in development. It’s about a character named Chance who is exiled from a world controlled by fantastical creatures and seeks out the god of the world: Fortune.
I initially planned for Fortune Leaves to be sung by myself, but unfortunately I do not have the skills in a DAW yet to perform this. I am hoping to remake this piece with a full cinematography and live singing to go with this piece.
Max & Holly
This is a commission series I made for an artist I met on discord. His social media details are provided in each video description so I hope you all check it out and explore the artist’s portfolio. He would love it if you would follow him as he is trying to get his Max and Holly story off the ground. His art is quite impressive and I would love to see it come to life.
And I gotta say, I had no idea making ragtime music was so easy. I saw a video teaching out to make the basics and boy, they weren’t kidding, its literally just a syncopated melody on top of a marching baseline. EASY!
Songbirds + Mockingbirds
Songbirds is a remix of an older piece I wrote in college and wanted to re-spice it up with modern VST’s and bring it up to my currently quality of writing. I actually didn’t change all too much besides the opening. As for it’s Twin: Mockingbirds, this is a piece that is a recovery of a very old concept assignment I wrote back in junior year college. The original piece was an obnoxious call and response motif with the ending copy of Elmo’s world. I split this piece apart and turned into a call and response woodwind quartet and turned it into a bird aesthetic piece. Check them out if your into Chamber music.
Various Updates
ACROSS THE DALES:
Many of you who follow my channel regularly are familiar with my Passion Project: Across the Dales. For those not aware, Across the Dales is an animated project I dreamt about over 10 years ago, and began working on it 7 years ago in 2017. It follows the story of an Angel child who is cursed to split into two parts of the soul and wander a pitch-black hell for eternity.
Since I first envisioned the project in 2017, I have made a complete 2-hour draft of its Official soundtrack, completed a half-hour pilot draft, and uploaded it to Coverfly, a screenwriting portfolio website. I’ve also received dozens of in-depth reviews on the story to make it as great as possible. But this is not the end of my journey with Across the Dales. This story still has work to be done on it if I wish to get producers and investors to take it seriously.
Please stay tuned to my channel as I prepare to provide more information into my huge project!
REMAKING ALL MY MUSIC:
I was talking with some career composers in the industry to get some advice on my future. They offered me one clear suggestion to do right now. Finish whatever scripts I have pending, and then go back through all my music and remake them with my current understanding of music. This will allow all my music to be uploaded with the same amount of quality so I can approach distribution companies and get my music out there. I’m pragmatic that this is not going to yield immediate results in my career, but I do know that it will be a good start.
CAREER & FUTURE:
A lot is happening in my life. I’m gearing up to go back to school, I’m working through the steps for the Praxis exam, and preparing a return to my original ambition of being a music teacher for the public school system. I’m working a night shift as a security guard to pay for this schooling, and I’m working as a substitute teacher to gain valuable experience in classroom management and to be more comfortable in a classroom of young students. And to top it all off, I’m getting married in the Spring to my College Sweetheart.
COMMISSIONS:
Commission writing has not been working out for me (at least right now anyway). I’ve had so many people reach out to me asking for concepts, only for me to be ghosted or ignored, or just rejected. This is normal in the art world and I am understanding of it, but it’s added a stress I am not willing to work with right now. I also need to bring up a strange video I’ve uploaded:
https://youtu.be/rbhDTwKPKCE?si=41wxVmOSBJl6BNON
I typically do not upload half-baked works, but this one was a bit of an exception. I was working with someone on a potential commission, he had me put a lot of work into a song he wrote for a musical script, and then he ghosted me and ghosted the discord channel he joined that I’m a part of. This makes me a bit weary as I wasn’t really interested in this project to begin with, but to have me do all this work and ghost me is concerning. This video I uploaded is a personal way for me to protect my work. However, this is not rule out the possibility of commissions happening spontaneously. I just won’t be as aggressive with it or leaving any advertisements out there.
Side note – If you do want me to be a part of your project, let me know and we’ll talk about it. Just know that i am very busy.
SITE REDESIGN:
It seems I’m redesigning my site almost every other month. But each update comes with a far better design than the last, and I’m at a state where I’m so happy with my site, I am no longer considering a future web designer. I’ve picked up on extremely basic code knowledge and have added those basic CSS codes to my WordPress site and it’s done wonders for me. I’ve also chosen to remove as much bloat from my site as possible and opted to use my YouTube video and channel links exclusively for posting videos on my site for portfolio purposes, and also using Tabs and Video Playlists to organize everything into a seamless experience for the user and it’d done quite a bit for making the user experience better navigate my website. Who knows, maybe if your clever enough, you can find the hidden page that contains my CV..
